The Vibrance of the 2025 Sampoerna MSME Festiva

Jakarta, August 22, 2025 – The 2025 Sampoerna MSME Festival was officially closed on August 22 at Sampoerna Strategic Square, Jakarta. Held under the theme “Empowered MSMEs, Innovation for the Nation’s Heritage,” the festival, which took place from August 19–22, was opened by the Minister of MSMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Maman Abdurrahman. The event was also part of a series celebrating the 112th anniversary of PT Sampoerna Strategic. KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati (KSP SMS) was present with its members and fostered MSMEs, who showcased local culinary products, crafts, and fashion, receiving widespread appreciation from visitors.

The momentum became even more special when KSP SMS received a Taxpayer and Formal Tax Compliance Charter from the Regional Tax Office of South Jakarta I. The award was accepted by the Head of KSP SMS II, I Made Pande Cakra. “This award proves that cooperatives not only support their members but also make a real contribution to state revenue,” he said, highlighting the strategic role of cooperatives in the national economy.

A number of fostered MSMEs felt tangible benefits from the event. Yanto, the owner of Bakso Condong Raos from Depok, stated that participating in the festival made his business more widely known and helped him gain new customers. Likewise, Dahlia from UD Heru (a producer of crackers from Tangerang) admitted that her products were in high demand among visitors as souvenirs. Other fostered businesses, such as a bag artisan, Semeru Syrup, Fanda Cooks, Kacang Sea Oplin, Jeruk Peras Yuk, and Lupis, were also popular among festival visitors.

Through a strong spirit of collaboration, KSP SMS reaffirmed its commitment to encouraging Indonesian MSMEs to upgrade. This effort is in line with the government’s agenda to strengthen the MSME sector, while also creating a significant positive impact on its members and the wider community.
