Jakarta, November 19, 2025 — KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati (KSP SMS) held a blood drive as part of its 17th anniversary celebration at The Atrium, Sampoerna Strategic Square, Jakarta. With the theme “Empowering, Growing, and Sustaining Together with Friends,” the event emphasized the cooperative’s commitment to expanding its social contributions within the community.
The event was opened by Mr. Bambang Sulistyo, a Member of the Supervisory Board, accompanied by Mr. Luqmanul Hakim, Government Relations at KSP SMS, representing the Steering Board. Also in attendance were the management team of PT Sampoerna Land, along with representatives from Manulife Indonesia, Lions Club Jakarta Bunga Tanjung, and Lions Club Jakarta Padma Gantari. The presence of these cross-sector stakeholders reflects the strong inter-institutional synergy in supporting humanitarian programs.
The event received a positive response from various groups. Approximately 500 participants, including cooperative members, employees, building tenants, and the general public, registered as donors. The high level of public enthusiasm demonstrates a strong collective awareness of the importance of blood availability for patients in need.
Luqmanul Hakim expressed his appreciation to all parties involved. “This initiative is a concrete manifestation of the cooperative’s contribution to social and humanitarian actions. Through collaboration involving various institutions, we want to ensure the delivery of programs that are relevant, beneficial, and have a sustainable impact on society,” he said.
The blood drive was made possible with the support of the Jakarta Red Cross (PMI) DKI Jakarta as the primary partner, as well as collaboration with the Manulife Peduli Foundation, PT Manulife, Lions Club Jakarta Bunga Tanjung, Lions Club Jakarta Padma Gantari, PT Biotek, PT Mayora, PT Yakult Indonesia Persada, and the Trisakti Tourism Alumni Association (IKAPTRI). Refreshments served to donors were provided by products of MSMEs fostered by KSP SMS, demonstrating the cooperative’s support for strengthening micro-enterprises.
Through this activity, KSP SMS affirmed its commitment to expanding social contributions and building sustainable collaborations that deliver direct impact on society.
