Jakarta, July 12, 2026 – The Sahabat Mitra Sejati Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) affirmed its commitment to remain a modern, professional, and adaptive cooperative through its participation in the culmination of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) commemoration at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.
With the theme “Empowered Cooperatives, Prosperous Indonesia”, the 79th National Cooperative Day was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. The series of activities began with a joint pilgrimage to the Tomb of Bung Hatta with the Minister of Cooperatives on July 9, 2026. KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati was represented by Chairman I Dedy Irja Pratama, accompanied by Chairman II Senior Commissioner of Police (Ret.) I Made Pande Cakra and Government Relations Officer Luqmanul Hakim.
This year’s National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) serves as a momentum to strengthen the role of cooperatives by increasing access to capital, markets, and technology to support an inclusive and sustainable national economy.
“This National Cooperative Day reminds us that cooperatives must continue to transform to meet the challenges of the times. Good governance, innovation, technology utilization, and integrity are the main foundations for increasing cooperative trust and providing greater benefits to their members,” said Dedy Irja Pratama, Chairman I of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati.
According to Dedy, cooperatives need not only to develop institutionally and in business terms, but also to maintain members’ trust through transparent, accountable, and service-oriented management.
For KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) serves as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, expand networks, and exchange experiences with cooperative members from across Indonesia. This forum also serves as a platform to strengthen synergy among the government, regulators, and the cooperative movement to promote good governance, innovation, and digital transformation.
